  • Zero Mother Die in West Africa: A very interesting adaptation and replication of MIRA project is happening in West Africa. ZMQ’s MIRA has recently partnered with ‘Zero Mothers Die’ (ZMD) a global project to Save the Lives of Pregnant Women and Children across Africa. Here, ZMQ partners with other ZMD partners Millennia2025 Foundation WeObservatory, a non-profit organization, based at the Destree Institute, Namur (Belgium) which is committed to highlight the crucial role of women in global health and telemedicine, and Traffina Foundation based out of Nigeria. Along with them ZMQ is taking the MIRA Channel for its replication in Nigeria and Ghana. In Ghana, it will be adopted by the Ministry of Health. In Nigeria, the program is being replicated through a local NGO called Traffina Foundation working to improve maternal and child health.
